Context

The LangChain Engine is a new capability that powers advanced agent workflows on LangSmith. You can read more about what it does in the announcement: https://www.langchain.com/blog/introducing-langsmith-engine

It is an opt-in feature, so organizations need to turn it on before it becomes available.

Answer

The LangChain Engine can be enabled directly from the LangSmith UI by an organization admin. To turn it on:

1. Log in to LangSmith as an organization admin.

2. Navigate to Settings > Engine Enablement.

3. Toggle the LangChain Engine option on.
